Terms of Use

1. Agreement

By installing or using WalletApp, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Intended use

WalletApp is a personal card-information storage utility for your own reference. It does not issue cards, initiate payments, process transactions, provide banking services, or replace your bank's official app.

3. Your data and responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of information you store or share, for controlling access to your devices and accounts, and for keeping backups appropriate to your needs.

If you enable Google Drive sync, you are responsible for preserving the recovery code. The developer and Google cannot recover a lost code or decrypt the synchronized vault.

4. Sensitive information

WalletApp includes security controls, but storing payment-card credentials carries risk. Use device security, enable the app lock where available, avoid sharing sensitive values unnecessarily, and comply with the terms of your card issuer and applicable law.

5. Permissions and third-party services

Optional features may use Apple iCloud, Apple Watch services, Google Sign-In, Google Drive, Google Play services, Wear OS, HandyAPI, Google Favicons, or other operating-system services. Your use of those services is also subject to the provider's terms and privacy policy.

6. Availability and changes

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features. Some features require a compatible device, operating system, network connection, platform account, permission, or third-party service and may not always be available.

7. No guarantees

WalletApp is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties that the app, card detection, reminders, backups, synchronization, or third-party services will always be accurate, available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss resulting from device compromise, data loss, unavailable backups, lost recovery codes, third-party services, incorrect card information, or use of the app. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Ending use

You may stop using WalletApp at any time and uninstall it. Uninstalling removes locally stored app data but may not remove device backups, iCloud records, Google Drive hidden app data, wearable copies, or shared exports. Manage those copies through the applicable device or account controls.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how WalletApp and its optional services handle data.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when WalletApp or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest version. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
